Getting Started with OptionSignal™

Prev Next

OptionSignal™ is quite involved: it's a Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) aka neural network.

It has dozens of layers, and understanding a neural network by looking at just one input is impossible because the network's "intelligence" comes from interactions, not individual pieces.

Simple problems can be solved with one or two facts (like SPY one day change), but real-world data (like the market) is "non-linear."

This means the relationship between the input and the answer is a messy curve, not a straight line.

To map that curve, the network must blend many inputs together through several layers and a lot of that is real-time data on bonds, inflation, various other market instruments on top of economic data, Volatility data, and price data.

OptionSignal™ uses a score from 1-5, which is official at 345p ET.

1 is Bearish, 5 is Bullish, there is little information for 2-4
